    Formed in '98 by founding members Cuzin' Mike (Bass) and PK (Guitar) just outside of Kansas City in the dank, cinderblock basement of a doublewide THE THROTTLER'S sole purpose was changing the way R&R was being played. To bring it back home. Add to the mix Rob Vietch (Drums) and Claes "Frehley" Lilig (guitar) both coming from the famed KC Rockin' Blues Punk band PARLAY and the combination is lethal. Like the bastard child of ZZ Top and Motorhead, THE THROTTLERS play true Hit-in-the-head-with-a-Buick Rock And Roll. It's the straight-up, no chaser stuff you feel more than hear. Sort of like that first time you stole a slug of Jack from your parent's liquor cabinet, or felt the rumble of a big block V8 goin' full tilt. It stays with ya, and for some you can never go back. Finding this kind of music these days can be difficult, but THE THROTTLERS are living proof that it's alive and well.

    So, put down that remote and shut off that TV. Forget that pomade and $$$ look. Shove in those earplugs, grab yourself a beer and get your ass out on the floor, cause...
